The new "SYSTEM 800 SE" control system is designed to enhance information integration and convenience. Its operation unit features an 18.5-inch wide-color LCD HMI (Human-Machine Interface) with a capacitive multi-touch panel, combining a premium feel with smartphone-like operability. Its key features are reflected in four aspects: "Visibility," "Functionality," "Convenience," and "Maintainability."

  • Visibility: Improved in every detail, such as making the on-screen calculator larger and easier to use, as well as enabling split-screen monitor display.
  • Functionality: Equipped with various molding drive modes that enable molding similar to specialized machines.
  • Convenience: Comes standard with the well-regarded meltcon®. Additionally, it features a check ring wear diagnostic function and an integrated operation management function for peripheral equipment.
  • Maintainability: It is possible to record the maintenance performed on the machine itself.

The viscosity of the resin is measured and quantified using meltcon®. Based on the quantified data, wear amount is determined using a proprietary analysis process. This not only helps in identifying the optimal maintenance timing but also aids in production management.

The S-HIN screw is developed as a more versatile screw based on the performance of the SAG screw. We have improved plasticizing capability to accommodate a wider range of resins while suppressing breakup, an instability phenomenon during plasticization, and achieving plasticization stability.

By expanding the daylight and increasing the tie-bar spacing, the flexibility for mounting molds has been enhanced. The increased space also provides more room for considering mold changeover devices, contributing to improved production efficiency.

  • An electromagnetic lock switch (mechanical lock type) has been added to the operator-side safety door.
  • The safety circuit has been reinforced by adding a safety relay unit and implementing power cutoff for the servo motor through the STO function of the servo amplifier.
